1-1 Support SEN – Partou The Thames Club Nursery & Pre School

We are currently seeking a qualified 1:1 Support Worker to join our team on a part-time basis.

The ideal person will…

• Hold a full and relevant early years and education qualification equivalent to Level 3 or above
• Undertake all SEN paperwork relating to the child, and liaise with external agencies
• Have a sound knowledge of EYFS
• You must have previous experience with working in a SEND role.
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Hold a level of pride in themselves and their work
• Be able to work from their own initiative
• Be reliable and friendly

Key Responsibilities:

• You will take responsibility for the provision of care and appropriate learning opportunities for the child you are supporting.
• Supervise the chid and protect them from dangerous or harmful situations
• Liaise with the parent/carers providing them with a daily activity record.
• To ensure that the needs of the child in your care are met.
